I am also known as the Assassin of Boredom. I once killed a sixpack of beers, just to watch it die. I cannot walk on water, but occasionally I have been known to stagger on Vodka. I can provide a magic show for all kinds of events, weddings, birthdays, festivals, and corporate functions and have an average rating of 4.8 stars based on 200 reviews on several business listing sites. I have 11 years of professional performance experience doing regular shows and have been hired by organizations like Luna Park, Ikea, 2dayfm, VMTech, Myer, Dolby, My Health Plus, Westfield, Toll, MCA, Ikea, Archie Brothers and the GPO Grande. I am an inventor and performer of magic tricks, see some of my original ideas on my Youtube and Instagram accounts linked below, although of course I draw inspiration from a great number of other talented magicians.

My magic is not intended to be an intellectual challenge or to make people look or feel stupid. My goal is to entertain. The mind and senses of all human beings are fallible and imperfect, regardless of how intelligent they are. There is no shame in this. Magicians utilise these faults to create the illusion of something impossible. My tricks will fool almost everybody unless they have studied magic themselves or I make a mistake, which does of course happen on the odd occasion. To suggest that someone is dumb because they cannot explain a magic trick is like calling a surgeon stupid because they don't understand the details of how a computer works.

I did a little show for the Rabbitohs at the Mudgee Race Club. (not sure why they were there)

I started doing magic tricks because I enjoyed watching magicians myself. I liked the mystery of magic tricks and I wanted to share that with other people. Normally "fooling" someone has negative connotations, but a magic show is an exception. I'm just here to give people a fun and entertaining experience. I really am happy to teach anybody who would like to perform magic themselves, or at least show them where they can learn. Many of the tricks are difficult but I think anyone could learn them if they really wanted to and are willing to practice. I don't jealously guard my secrets.
If you're interested, here is a playlist of magic acts containing tricks that still fool me to this day. Some of these are full acts and not necessarily all the tricks fool me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXv99krk614&list=PLGCS_NMDBImpIti0GjHq8A-f2jBN-8vhc
There is also a Meetup Group for magicians if you are interested in learning about this type of performance.

My performance can also make your business look good if you have one. It will also probably gain you returning customers. It's a win win win situation, it makes me look good, makes you look good, makes the customers happy. I can't make people leave good feedback about your service, they're only going to say that if they really feel it. However, I can perhaps put them in a good mood where they are more inclined to want to help out by leaving a good review. Magic could be like a bit of extra icing on the cake of whatever service you offer.
On the other hand, in the few cases where people try to exploit or hurt my business, I generally hurt them back. I once had someone try to sell tickets to my show without asking my permission. I just made sure everyone in the audience understood what happening, essentially humiliating this ticket seller. I said I would still do the show if 100% of the tickets sales went to me, of course they refused. If they had been honest from the beginning I would have given them some commission. In a similar manner I once had an agent lie to me about their commission and I found out while asking the customer, I just left and explained why I was leaving. You can be reckless and gamble by trying to exploit me, but then there is little guarantee you get the show and high risk of embarrassment. Much better to be transparent, it's a win, win, win relationship, trust me.
Below are some of the reviews I've gotten for other businesses. People frequently say they will be back for more. If you click on the facebook logo at the top right corner of each of these posts, you can see the positive reviews people have left for my customers Facebook pages.

You might consider selling tickets to the show, in this case three quarters of the ticket sales go to me and one quarter go to you and forget any other quoted price. In the last Summer Holidays I had a customer book me for 4 shows and each made roughly $600 in ticket sales. This could be lucrative for you if you advertise the event well. I figure if you create an audience for me because of the reputation you have built for your business and your marketing work, you should get some payment for it.
If you are a booking agent I accept maximum 25% of the booking fee as commission. |

I offer a unique magical experience, involving sleight of hand with rope, coins, pencils, paper, balls, cards, cups, spoons, garbage, rubber bands, napkins or pretty much any everyday objects. Almost all my props are either made by me, or they are ordinary objects that can be bought at a shopping centre. I also try to borrow things if I can, I am more than happy to use your deck of cards if you think that is less suspicious. I also have my audience members do many of the tricks themselves. I can't read minds but I do several tricks that give a very convincing impression that I can. My act is influenced by many magician's such as T Nelson Downs, Jeff Sheridan, Jim Cellini, Lennart Green, Dani Daortiz, Juan Tamariz and Jim Steinmeyer. Over time my act gradually evolves, the show I am doing now is very different from the one I was performing two years ago although there are certain core tricks that I have done pretty much the same for many years, like the cups and balls, as I can't see any way to improve them. If you would like to make a repeat booking, just let me know what tricks I did last time and I will try to put together a different show for you, I just have trouble remembering exactly what I did for each audience.

I don't have Public Liability Insurance (PLI) as my act has no real risk. You can read about the reasons for PLI on business.gov.au. If this is a problem, find another magician and please don't contact me.
